HTTP 402 · retrying the identical request will fail identically — change the request first.

The fix

Add credits. Prevention matters more than the message: we return a pre-request 402 once your balance is below the estimated cost, emit an X-Minirouter-Balance-Usd header on every response, and email at 20% and 5% of a 7-day burn.
