Bring your own keys to MiniRouter
Bring your OpenAI, Anthropic or DeepSeek account to the MiniRouter endpoint your app already uses. Save your credentials in Provider keys, choose their order, and send supported requests directly to your provider.
Make your first request
Enable an OpenAI key in Provider keys, then authenticate with your MiniRouter API key. Your provider secret stays saved in your account; it does not go in the request below.

One key: 0%. Multiple keys: 3%.
- 0% service fee with one enabled key per provider.
- 3% of published-rate usage with multiple enabled keys for the same provider, even when the first key handles the request.
Your provider bills inference separately. Provider credits and private discounts do not reduce the reference fee. The pricing examples show how this works across providers.
An added backup starts disabled. You’ll see and accept the 3% fee before enabling it.
Your preferred key, then your backup
After a confirmed credit shortage, temporary rate limit or invalid key, MiniRouter can try the next eligible key in your order. Keys sharing provider funds are grouped together: a second key on an empty account does not add credit.
A timeout or a stream that has already started may represent billed work. MiniRouter does not blindly replay it. See when key switching applies.
Keep control of your spend
Set a spend limit for traffic through MiniRouter. DeepSeek can also report a balance, though other traffic and reporting delays can change it. Fee receipts separate reference usage from the MiniRouter fee.
Own-key mode applies per provider. Enabled pools use your keys and stop if none can serve. Other providers use MiniRouter credits at normal pricing. Turn off a pool to return that provider to MiniRouter keys.
Available for the text models and OpenAI embeddings in the qualified request list. Images, audio, special pricing modes and some request features are not supported.
